Overview

TickSig Script is the formula language behind every indicator in the chart. You write it in the script editor, the chart compiles it in the browser, and the result is drawn on the pane you declared. A script is a list of statements; each statement computes one series and optionally draws it.

The core idea is series arithmetic. CLOSE is not one number — it is the closing price of every bar on screen. Writing CLOSE - OPEN produces a new series of the same length, computed bar by bar. Almost every function takes series in and gives series out, so you rarely write loops.
